    Verify the network details first

Before adding a custom network, obtain the network name, RPC URL, chain ID, currency symbol and explorer URL from current official Robinhood Chain documentation. Do not copy these values from an old tutorial, a random post or a search advertisement.

    Add the network in MetaMask

Open MetaMask and use its network selector or the official network-add flow. Enter the verified parameters exactly, review the explorer domain, then save. If MetaMask offers a trusted built-in network listing, prefer that over manually entering unknown values.

    Check before you transact

After switching networks, confirm the selected chain in the wallet and the application. A token balance on one network is not automatically available on another. Make sure you understand which network pays transaction fees before minting or moving assets.

    Troubleshooting

If the network fails to connect, re-check the official RPC endpoint and chain ID, update the wallet, and avoid replacing the RPC with an unverified endpoint. Never enter a seed phrase into a website to “fix” a network issue.
